Brinjal poriyal
Ingredients
Oil - 3 tsp
Brinjal-4
onion- 1 medium size
garlic-5 sliced
tomato- 1 (chopped)
curry leaves-2 strips
corriander leaves
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
sambar powder-1 tsp
urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
Channa dhal -1/2 tsp
Musterd - 1/4 tsp
Method
  1. Heat oil in kadai and season with mustard seeds,urad dal and channa dal.
  2. Then add onions, garlic,curry leaves and turmeric fry until transparant.
  3. Add brinjal, salt and saute well until colour changes (10 mts)
  4. Add tomatoes , sambar powder and saute well
  5. Cook until done
  6. Finally garnish with coriander leaves
